Indigenous Day Live

On Saturday June 22, for the first time, APTN will host Indigenous Day Live from Fort Calgary (Moh’kins’tsis – 750 9 Ave SE) as part of Aboriginal Awareness Week Calgary that runs from June 17 to 22.

Indigenous Day Live is the largest national celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and the summer solstice in Canada. There are free daytime celebrations and activities followed by an evening concert (pre-show: 4:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / IDL concert: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.).

Hosted by Ashley Callingbull and Natasha Kanapé Fontaine, concert performers include Blue Rodeo, Crystal Shawanda, Diyet & The Love Soldiers, Ghostkeeper, Jacobus and more.
