On Saturday, April 5, Join Us for the 15th Annual Acera Insurance Run for L’Arche at Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island!
Since 2011, the Acera Insurance Run for L’Arche has raised over $795,000 in support of L’Arche Calgary’s housing, programs, and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities. Originally founded by Acera Insurance (formerly Rogers Insurance) employees, this annual event continues to make a meaningful impact on our community.
Whether you prefer to run in person or virtually, we have race options for everyone! Choose from a 1K Fun Run, 3K, 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. Virtual participants can complete their race anywhere—on city pathways, stairs, backyards, or even a treadmill!
L’Arche Calgary creates a community of belonging for over 100 people, including 33 core members with intellectual disabilities. Since its founding in 1973, it has grown to include five homes, a Supported Independent Living Program, and a day program, Tamarack.
