Over the span of their nearly three-decade long career Emerson Drive have won over audiences with their mesmerizing harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. With 22 Top 10 hits, twice recognized as Best Group of the Year from the Canadian Country Music Association, and countless other awards and nominations, catch these homegrown heroes at the final stop on their farewell tour. This is the last chance to hear radio mainstays “Moments” and recent Billboard Canada Top 10 hit “Just Got Paid” live, and under the wide-open sky at Olympic Plaza.
This isn’t just a farewell tour for Emerson Drive either, Plaza for All is a farewell send-off for Olympic Plaza as Arts Commons begins reimagining this space with Calgary — two Alberta landmarks in arts and culture setting the stage for a new chapter together.
With eyes on the future, Plaza for All kicks-off with local rising star and favourite Kyle McKearney — so arrive early, get a bite at one of the five food vendors, participate in an creative arts activity, and settle in on the grass or at one of our picnic tables on the pad for a late summer evening perfect for the whole family. Bar service is also available.
