The Calgary Food Bank continues to see unprecedented demand for food as many in our community struggle to make ends meet during these difficult times. Inflation, coupled with high food costs as well as rent, utilities, and more, mean that many have to choose between keeping the lights on or feeding their families.
Ideas for fundraisers include:
- Fill a Truck, the boss’s office, or another designated area with food.
- Get your Spaghetti Western on by rounding up pasta and pasta sauce.
- Go loco for Loonies and Toonies!
- Wrangle up a raffle: the Calgary Food bank can assist with creating a virtual 50/50 fundraiser.
- Spread the Love: ask everyone to donate peanut butter or nut butter.
