On April 6, 2018 the lives of many changed forever when a bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos hockey team collided with a semi-trailer, taking the lives of 16 people, and injuring 13 others.
Cowboys ‘n Sleds is an event created to continue the healing process by bringing people together and promoting agencies and services that responded and assisted in the Broncos tragedy. The event will feature a charity sledge hockey game at WinSport Arena featuring drivers and outriders from the World Professional Chuckwagon Association against Canadian Country Music star George Canyon and his team of All-Stars.
Music fans will also want to check out the Post-Game After Party featuring special musical guests in a unique and casual setting at the WinSport event tent. Funds raised from the event will go to support the StrazStrong Foundation in support of Ryan Straschnitzki and STARS Air Ambulance.
Game tickets are $10 (kids under 10 are free) – a tax receipt will be issued with the purchase of a game ticket.
Post-Game After Party tickets are $30, and include entry to the game.
