Citizenship Ceremony
Heritage Park is excited to host the only citizenship ceremony in Calgary on Canada Day. Join us in the mezzanine of Gasoline Alley Museum from 10-11am, to see the inauguration of 50 new Canadians! There will be a reception to follow. All are welcome. (Please note, attendees must remove their hats during the ceremony.)
Entertainment
GlobalFest is bringing a dazzling array of multicultural performers to the Didsbury bandstand. Learn about some of the people that have immigrated to Canada over the centuries, and explore their music, art and dance. Also, enjoy pop-up musical performances around the Park.
Family Activities
The Park will be abuzz with activities all day long, including crafts, old-fashioned outdoor games, a car display from the Nifty Fifty’s Ford Club, and a not-to-be-missed, mouth-watering barbeque tent.
