Shaw Charity Classic

81 stars of the PGA TOUR Champions will officially be returning to the tee at Calgary’s Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club, August 13-15, 2021.

After having to take a one-year pause in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tournament staff have worked diligently with all levels of government, along with the PGA TOUR Champions and its players to receive permission for a safe return to play in 2021.

To ensure a safe and responsible return of the Shaw Charity Classic presented by Suncor to our Calgary community, tournament officials are only permitting a limited number of 2,000 spectators on-site each day for the Championship Rounds, August 13-15. Tickets are now available on the Shaw Charity Classic presented by Suncor website.

The Shaw Charity Classic presented by Suncor promises to play a key role in building our community back stronger from the pandemic. In doing so, the tournament will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of thousands of children as a result of the important work being undertaken by 233 youth-based charities in Alberta who need our support more than ever. To date, the tournament has raised more than $61 million.

As a three-time recipient of the President’s Award (2014, 2015, and 2017) as the top event on the PGA TOUR Champions, the Shaw Charity Classic presented by Suncor has become a staple summer event, promising a world-class experience for golf fans and non-golf fans alike.
