We’re looking for Calgary’s hottest, newest Country talent to rock the stage at Country Thunder Alberta this August!

You think you have what it takes to battle with the best of them?

We’re looking for someone who can command the attention of thousands of people on a huge festival stage! You could be performing on the same stage as major country stars, like Dierks Bentley, Eric Church and Toby Keith!

We’ll be holding live auditions at the Ranchman’s on Saturday, February 17 and February 24 and the best of the bunch will continue on to the semi-finals. Everything will come to an end when we invite the best from each week of semi-finals and crown the next RISING STAR!

Country 105’s Rising Star Grand Prize Winner will receive  – the opportunity to perform on the main stage at Country Thunder Alberta, a 1 day recording session at MCC Recording Studio,  two delegate packages to this year’s CCMA Awards, and a $1,500 shopping spree at Lammle’s. The winner will also have opportunity to perform at Ranchman’s events and the potential to be endorsed by Lammle’s for a year.
