August 16: The Carifest Night Carnival!

Caribbean cowboys?! Yes! Come join us for a night of western and Caribbean fun at Shaw Millennium Park to kick off Carifest 2024! Get ready for a vibrant celebration of Soca, Dancehall, Steel Pan and Feting! Let’s light up the night with a sneak peek of the colorful Carifest parade costumes, delicious Caribbean food and infectious rhythms! This is an in-person 18+ event you won’t want to miss! Bring the squad and dress in your fave western look from stampede to jump up all night under the Carifest canopy tent! Day 2: Carnival in the park!

Grab your spot on Stephen Ave from Olympic Plaza to Shaw Millenium park and enjoy the vibrant Carifest parade! Dance with a maquarader to the sweet sounds of Soca, Zouk, Dancehall and much more while marveling at the large and handmade Kind and Queen costumes! The Carifest Parade is an exciting multicultural street party where all are welcome!
Follow the parade to Shaw millenium park where the family friendly festivities continue! From a stellar line up of local and international acts, to a greater selection of Caribbean food vendors, a beer garden, kid zones, Steel Pan Orchestras and artisan market!
Day 3: Reggae Cool Down!
12 – 6pm All ages
Come wrap up the Carifest festivities with a cool dose of Reggae Music! From Gospel reggae to Lovers Rock and Soul subgenres – get ready to go on a musical journey with this year’s line up of local and international acts!
