The 11th Annual Concert for Classrooms returns to Calgary on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Bella Concert Hall with the same high-octane, radio-show-style format that audiences have come to love — part concert, part storytelling, and all heart. This year’s Hammer Jam brings together an all new, unforgettable lineup of Canadian music powerhouses: The Road Hammers, Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar, and multi-award-winning country legend Michelle Wright, for one night only in support of Classroom Champions. Concert for Classrooms raises critical funds to connect thousands of students across Canada with Olympic, Paralympic and elite-athlete mentors and role models through Classroom Champions’ life-changing programs.
Anchored by Canada’s top country rock band, The Road Hammers, known for their roaring guitars, powerful harmonies, and hit anthems like “I’m a Road Hammer,” this year’s lineup
amplifies the fun with performances by Gordie Johnson, frontman of Big Sugar, Michelle Wright, Barney Bentall, Morgan Klaiber and Dan Davidson. Hosted in the style of a live rock-and-country radio variety show, Concert for Classrooms combines the thrill of spontaneous collaboration, unscripted banter, and powerhouse performances. Concert for Classrooms is presented by Mawer, with the generous support of Craig and Cara Senyk ensuring that 100% of every ticket and sponsorship goes directly to Classroom Champions’ mentorship programs for students across Western Canada.
