Luke Combs Forever After All Five Weeks #1 on ACC with Kix Brooks

ACC with Kix Brooks is on CISN Country 103.9 Edmonton and Country 105 Calgary Saturday’s 8 am to Noon.

Luke Combs Forever After All is a five-week #1 on American Country Countdown.

“All I can ever hope out of a song is somebody finds a connection to it that’s special to them.”

Forever is Luke’s 11th #1 and 6th from his second LP, What You See Is What You Get.

“It’s pretty crazy having this song go #1. It’s all thanks to the fans, and we have a really great team, from management to label to band and crew. And, we’ve been lucky that country radio has embraced us, which means the world to me. I’m forever grateful to everybody that’s helped get my songs out there. Thanks to everybody, and I never take it for granted.”

Forever is a 5-week #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Luke wrote Forever with Drew Parker and Robert Williford.

“I wrote it with Rob Williford and Drew Parker and we knew how much we loved it and how much we thought people would like it. It’s just kind of a continuance of that love story that you’ve heard in Beautiful Crazy and Better Together.”

“You could write a generic love song, and not to say it couldn’t be done, but my wife’s impact on my life has weighed heavily on the outcome of these songs. These songs wouldn’t exist without her. I don’t think I would’ve been in that headspace or been comfortable saying those kind of things without going through that.”

Luke married his girlfriend, Nicole Hocking, in August 2020 and shared footage from the ceremony in the video for Forever After All.

“All of my music videos mean a lot to me, but this one is super special since it features a lot of footage from Nicole’s and my wedding. That was the best day of my life, and I’m super lucky to be married to my best friend. I definitely got choked up watching it, and it will be something we hold on to and always cherish.”

Luke’s new single for Country Radio will be Cold As You.

Luke Combs shared two unreleased original songs this week, Good Old Days and Five-Leaf Clover.

Luke is back live! What You See Is What You Get 2021 Tour.

“I think that was kind of always my goal: get people to come back and see a show twice and then see it a third time. And now I’ve got people who have been to 30, 40 shows.”
