Miranda Lambert’s Bluebird is #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, followed by ACC.
“Bluebird" is officially a number one song. It's been 8 years since I had a number 1 on the billboard charts and 6 years on mediabase. I have spent my life doing what I love and I feel more blessed and humbled than ever to have this song of hope resonate with you all. pic.twitter.com/JOeucALE67

Bluebird is Miranda Lambert’s 6th Billboard Country Airplay #1. Miranda’s last solo #1 was Over You in May 2012.
Miranda shared #1 status in August 2018 with Jason Aldean on Drowns The Whiskey. And in December 2013 with Keith Urban for We Were Us.
“It’s really great. I mean, 2012 feels like a lifetime ago; two months feels like a lifetime ago right now. I feel very proud. I’ve been putting out singles for, like, 15 years and when radio embraces me and really believes in the song, it shows. I’m so thankful that after all these years, I still have a spot.”

Bluebird was #1 in Canada on the Billboard Canada Country National Airplay chart on June 27th.
Bluebird was written by Miranda with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby from her LP Wildcard.
“We wrote the song two years ago, so how would we ever have known it would be a little song of hope when we needed it? But I just feel like we sensed that in writing it, and now it’s even more special because people have told me that that’s the song that they are kind of going with to remind themselves to find some happiness and peace through all the bad news. I do think that’s part of the success of Bluebird is the time that it’s been released into.”
“I will say that with radio, they don’t sometimes give me credit where credit’s due, but when they do, they really come on board and support me all these years. They root for me, and I’m so thankful for that. Because it’s been a long relationship with country radio for me, where I’ll have a #1, and then I won’t have something cross the top 10 in five singles. So when radio really embraces me, I’m humbled by it and I always appreciate it.”
CISN Country 103.9 presents Miranda Lambert at Rogers Place on Wednesday, October 14th, as she brings her Wildcard Tour to Edmonton with special guests Cody Johnson and LANCO.
“That’s one downside to right now: it’s the #1 song and I don’t get to share it with them. I miss the fans and sharing this moment with them, but when touring comes back, I know it’ll still be there. I can’t wait to hear the crowd sing along. That’s one thing I’m really looking forward to.”
Miranda Lambert sent Maren Morris and her son Hayes a gift. Two denim jackets that had their names embroidered on the back along with glittery fringe.

Miranda Lambert says quarantining with husband Brendan McLoughlin has been a good test of their marriage.
“If newlyweds can survive a pandemic then I think we’re good, you know? It’s a good test.”
