“Eric Church was an obvious choice when it came to finding somebody to do that song with. Not only does it I feel fit his writing style, but also his mentality and approach to music. I think it was just a really good fit.”
Luke wrote Does To Me with Ray Fulcher and Tyler Reeve, it’s the 3rd single from his LP What You See Is What You Get.
“Number one songwriting hero, definitely is Eric Church. I think there are these subtleties that he has in his music, just different ways of saying things that have been said a million times that I’m such a huge fan of. It’s something that I try to emulate. And, when I asked my management to reach to his management, you know, I didn’t know him personally at that time. I was definitely nervous, you know, cause he’s a very selective guy about things that he’ll attach his name to. So, I made it clear to my management like, Hey, no pressure. I don’t want him to do this if he doesn’t like the song. You know, it’s not gonna hurt my feelings. It totally would have hurt my feelings, by the way. But, it would not hurt my feelings. As a man, I would have stomached it. But, I’m very thankful that he dedicated some time to it.”
Thank you country radio & the best fans in the world for making “Does To Me” my 8th No. 1. Awesome as my 1st & I’ll never take it for granted. Thanks to @ericchurch for being a part of this song. Super cool to have him sing on it.

“When we started getting things ready for the Does To Me music video, I knew I wanted my fans to be involved, so I had them share things that might not mean a lot to others, but did to them.”
May 1st Luke Combs officially released his COVID-19 song Six Feet Apart, written by Luke with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder.
“I think I just asked them out of the blue, Hey, do we write a song about this thing? Or is that too cheesy? They actually sent me an idea that they had, and the title was Six Feet Apart. We were kind of on the same wavelength, without even talking to each other about it. The next day, it felt like it wrote itself, really.”
Luke Combs is looking forward to his upcoming wedding with fiancée Nicole Hocking.
“We obviously hope that that happens. Obviously, things are day to day, and that decision ultimately is not really up to us. I guess it depends on regulations and the way all this stuff shakes out. So I don’t know. We’ll see. Obviously, we would both love to have the wedding, and hope that that happens sooner rather than later. But also, we want to be safe for our grandparents and different folks like that. There’s not much we can do about it but plan ahead.”
“We definitely considered a very small wedding, but my fiancée has put so much planning into this thing. I think we’re pretty set on what we’re gonna do and whenever that is, I guess we’ll find out soon enough.”

Happy Valentines Day to the love of my life @nicohocking. I know you’re probably gonna kill me for using some of these photos because they don’t have filters or bomb ass lighting but you don’t need any of that. These pictures remind me of you in so many ways, your natural beauty, your radiant smile, your fun loving personality, your sense of humor, and how much you love animals just to name a few and I just wanted the world to get a little peek of all the amazing sides of you I get to see everyday. Thank you for loving me, I don’t know how you do it, but I’m glad you do. I love you SO. MUCH.
