(VIDEO) Alberta man rescues frozen kittens...with his warm coffee

Kendall Diwisch of Drayton Valley (Alberta) came across a horrific site one day last week.  He took matters into his own hands, and became the hero – – thanks to a warm coffee that was in his truck.

According to his Facebook post, Kendall found three kittens on a back road near one of his wells.  Their tails were partially frozen in ice, which leads him to believe that the animals had likely been dropped off and left there all night.

As he tried to rescue the kittens, they meowed in pain.  Remembering that he had a warm coffee in his truck, Kendall poured it over the ice to free them.

Check out the video:

Kendall took them home to give them food and water.  A Drayton Valley shelter has since shared the good news that they will remain together as a family in their new fur-ever home!
