An employee at Brandt Engineered Products has died in a “work-related” incident on the morning of June 6, according to a statement from the company.
The employee was a machinist who had worked for Brandt for 28 years.
He passed away after sustaining “serious injuries” at the north-side manufacturing facility.
Brandt said the exact cause of the incident is not known and a joint investigation by both Brandt and Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety is underway.
Grief counsellors were brought in to the company to aid employees.

The building is located on Mill Street off CanAm Highway.
