Without a doubt, Thomas Rhett is currently one of the biggest stars in Country Music, headlining his current “Life Changes” tour and a string of number one songs, but there was a time, not too long ago, when very few people knew who he was – including security at his own shows!!!
Thomas remembers one time, when he wasn’t so well known and was opening for Florida Georgia Line, that he almost missed his show because he didn’t have the right credentials. Thomas explains, “I was out watching the opening act, I think it was Frankie Ballard, from front of house. And if you know me I never carry a pass with me. My managers don’t even give me a pass because it will be lost within two days. So I usually am walking with someone that has a pass that can take me somewhere but this time I didn’t. I walked through the crowd by myself, went to front of house and then I had to walk back.”
Here’s Thomas Rhett recalling what it felt like to be shut out of his own show:
I’m pretty sure that these days, everyone knows Thomas Rhett and we hope to see him back in Calgary soon!! He will be as close as the Big Valley Jamboree this summer!!
