Tim McGraw was performing in Dublin, Ireland on Sunday night when he collapsed. Tim had just performed his hit Humble and Kind when when he sat down near his keyboard player, then slumped to his knees as he walked off stage.
Faith Hill, Tim’s wife, came out on stage shortly after to tell the audience that Tim was very dehydrated and she told the fans that she had made the decision to cancel the rest of his performance as she was concerned about him and wanted him to get medical treatment.
Tim was near the end of his set and the audience chanted “We love Tim” while Faith performed an a capella version of “What a Friend we have in Jesus”
The gig, at Dublin’s 3 Arena was the final date of a three-day, three-city tour of the UK, as part of the Country to Country festival.
McGraw and Hill were co-headliners, and had played in London on Friday night, then in Glasgow on Saturday.
A spokesman for McGraw said the star “was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine”.
“He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.”
