Growing up in Calgary, this is how I remember the winters. We had lots of snow and we played in it all day long without a care in the world. That was then, this is now. Now I have a job to get to in a car that needs to be dug out from under a snow mountain…constantly! Over the weekend my wife and I drove around Calgary finding it nearly impossible to navigate through any side street. (It was this weekend that my all wheel drive vehicle really paid for itself.)

So, the topic of conversation being heard over and over again lately is, why isn’t the city doing more to clear the snow? Well, I guess the quick answer to that is “money”.
