On June 19, 2021 from 11am – 5pm at the Highwood Community Hall, please consider brining down your old electronic devices to an E-Waste Collection event. The event is supported by the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and once the ERA receives the electronics they will wipe all information from the devices then recycle each part properly.
The organizers are collecting old electronic devices that don’t work and/or people don’t want anymore.
Accepted Items: cell phones, tablets, laptops, computers, servers, monitors, networking equipment, gaming consoles, and similar electronics
Cannot Accept: household or personal electronics (personal and household electronics include TVs, toothbrushes, electric razors, and household appliances).
All social distancing protocols must be followed (masks, social distancing, etc.) Additionally, there will be hand sanitizing stations, refreshments and snacks for those who donate.
