Well once again Crowfoot Liquor and Wine Boutique is throwing a party as only they know how. This weekend at the Heritage Point location, (on Pine Creek Road) they are getting together with Mountain Crest for a Barbeque. Beer and Barbeque could it get any better...ahhh, yes it could this Crowfoot location is on the way to Heritage Point Golf Course! Woo Hoo! Stop by on your way to the golf course Saturday between 11am and 4pm for a burger and beer. Oh, and let's not forget the weather Saturday should be sunny and about 28 degrees!

I have finally done it. I've always wanted to run a marathon and It only took me until my 43rd birthday to do it. On August 31st I am running the NIKE Human Race 10k run. Okay, I know it's not a "Marathon" in the 26k sense of the word, but it's a Marathon to me. After I succeed in this I will to a 26k run, but for now I'm training for this. You can join me too! I am training at the Eau Claire Running Room Wednesday nights, NIKE has given me some cool stuff to give away while I'm there so maybe I'll set you up with a little NIKE swag too. This week for Wine Wednesday we spoke with our friend Brad at Crowfoot Liquor and Wine Boutique about anew wine exclusive to Crowfoot...It's from a Merlot Cuvier from Deerfield Ranch in Sonoma California. This wine is full of nice floral notes, big fruit, and even a taste of dark chocolate...sounds like a full meal in a bottle! This wine is a little pricier than we are used to but Brad says it's well worth a taste. If you've ever tried "Red Rex" this is the same guys that make Deerfiel Ranch Merlot Cuvier.
